Colin Dansby
Owner, LMTHi, I'm Colin, a Licensed Massage Therapist from Saint Petersburg, Florida. My passion for helping people with pain started when I was 17. I developed lower back pain and spasms from working a lawn care job. This pain would only get worse and spread to other parts of my body throughout the next 4 years. In that time, I educated myself on why and how pain develops in the body and why it sticks around. I was so interested in this that I wanted to learn more and that's when I decided to go to school to get my Massage Therapy License at Sarasota School Of Massage Therapy. Massage Therapy and Bodywork was a big step in helping me feel better in my body. I know what it's like to be in pain and not be able to do the things you want to do or move the way you used to. My mission is to empower you on your own journey of moving and feeling better!

After the Massage Therapist arrives to your residence, we will go over your intake and discuss your pain/concerns. Then we will do some tests and assessments based on what kind of pain/injury you are dealing with to get a better idea of how to move forward with the treatment. Every session will be different depending on the information provided and the information we gather from assessing your body, we will use a blend of different techniques including Myofascial release and stretching, Neuromuscular Therapy/Trigger Point Therapy, PNF Stretching, and more.
What is Bodywork?
Bodywork encompasses all soft tissues—muscles, tendons, ligaments but primarily focuses on comprehensive fascial restoration. Unhealthy fascia is often the root of aches and pains, and bodyworkers address these issues strategically to restore tissue health. What sets bodywork apart is its holistic approach to the body. Instead of just addressing the area of concern, bodyworkers assess the entire body to identify the problem’s source. Often, pain or tension originates in a different area than where it’s felt. Once identified, therapists then determine the most effective techniques to restore fascial health.
